I’ve had marriage problems for the last 45 years. However, I have got used to them now and must have passed my probationary period. She hasn’t pensioned me off........yet. Lucky indeed. B.
Dave D Always good to start your own thread and get to know the forum that way. Picture of the steed is always a great starter. Ride Safe Joe.
Steve800 Welcome to the Forum. Sorry that people seem to be derailing your important question. I personally don't know the dealer. But you have a few here that seem happy with them Always best to take a real god test ride and that will give you all the answers you want about the bike. Dealer reputation will show itself when you are there. Regards Joe.
Welcome from sunny California. I might suggest the new Speed Twin. One feature is tubeless tires which in general is considered safer when compared to spoked wheels with inner tubes. Plus the Speed Twin looks very cool !!
Hi, I dealt with both Newcastle and York,York had the bike I decided to buy..the T120 black ....had mine a year now, done 5,000 miles...newbie myself really...bike is great...it had Vance and Hines exhaust and X thingy/malarkey fitted (I don’t do mechanics!) Have plenty of practice runs,hired/test rode one from Newcastle..great to deal with..... See you at Whitby!! Regardo, Martin
Thank you for your advice, I must admit I was really impressed by the bike, definitely more than I thought I would. As for Triumph Newcastle I couldn’t fault them.finding a good dealer is half the battle I feel. I have an excellent one near me but sadly not Triumph. Steve
Welcome to the forum, although not bought a bike from newcastle triumph always found them open a friendly, always have time offer advise and a chat.
Well it didn’t take long, I get my new T120 Black tomorrow. It willl be a change from my Aprilia Caponord Rally. Thanks to everyone for their advice. Steve
Greetings, How’s the T120 and where are you riding out in the North East? My T120 is thrashing around there regularly... Cheers, M
I’ve got the first service due at the end of the week have 500 miles on it and am really enjoying it. The weather has been freezing up here so have forgotten it can be a bit chilly on a naked bike. Only extra to date is a dart screen, which makes a big difference. At the moment I’m thinking of luggage carrying solutions, but I think I made the right decision to buy it. Steve
Hi Steve, Yeh,freezing at times...especially my 3hr ride back from Liverpool yesterday afternoon..grim.. My trips from there are to Yarm,Whitby,Saltburn, Helmsley, Stokesley and so on...there are bike nights in Stockton,Whitby and Yorkshire pudding Festival is on the radar for this year....perhaps let’s know if and when your about and can catch a brew.. Cheers, M ps:not worked out a luggage plan myself yet..
