Morning all. Thought I'd join the group as on Saturday I'll be bringing home a 1998 Triumph Thunderbird Sport café racer. I'm 47 and had my license since 19. After starting out on a Honda CB100, then a Suzuki RG Gamma125, I moved on to a Suzuki GS550e. As I'm sure some of you will have done similarly, the bike was part exchanged(for an ford estate) as my new wife and I restored a house and then children. Until that is, a couple of years ago when a mate lent me his Harley Davidson MT350 to get me back on the road. So now I'm riding a 1984 Kawasaki GT750 and adding the Thunderbird to the garage. In also up to my armpits in restoring 71 VW Beetle, so I've got plenty to play with for a while...... or have I? So I'm looking forward to getting involved in the forum, learning along the way and maybe seeing some of you it on the road perhaps! Cheers all!
Hi from cambs welcome cool and quirky bike you have there. Does that photo make the seat look thinner than it actually is as it appears to look like it would give the cushioning of ur bum cheeks serious a work out.
Hi. I think the photo makes it look a little thin but I've only test ridden it and so I've not gone any great distance. Time will tell if I can walk or not after a good ride out
