Thought i'd better sign up. I'm taking a Thruxton R out on a demo this Wednesday. With a serious inclination to buy one in September. Though i will probably buy second hand rather than get reemed for over 12k at dealership for a new one. Had a look through a few threads. Lots of great info on here. Kit B
Hi As you I just signed today to the forum and just collected my first triumph america (first triumph) last Saturday, and first time out on it yesterday I looked like a Cheshire cat most of the day. Just couldn't stop smiling. and the sound was awesome. But so hot (need to get summer kit) ,and the habit of putting feet forward has yet to be fully mastered, but what a rush. The relaxed seating position of the bike is so comfortable you could fall asleep if I could stop smiling. Spending today polishing it (ride it for one day and polish it for six ).
I only have my wee commuter YBR125 at the moment. Been pretty much a sportsbike guy since 1993. Blade , FZR , CBR , ZX6R Tho i dabbled in more upright ones. ZRX1100 which i hated. My last being a 2005 Kawasaki Z750. I stupidly swapped my P6 Kawasaki ZX7R for it due to sore elbows. Stupid Stupid Stupid. Knew it within 100 miles it had made a mistake. Kit
Hello mate and welcome to the madhouse, you'll soon be as mad as the rest of us, except littleade, he's the only one sane here, (allegedly),
Hi Les, you've put your full postal address in your location. Normally we wouldn't do that as it gives thieves your new bikes' exact location, helping them to pay a visit - if you know what I mean. Most peeps normally just put the county for their location.
