So I've recently got hold of a 05' Triumph Speed Triple in the last month or so, really love the bike but having a few techie issues with it at the moment which hopefully will be back running with zero faults soon! I'm looking at things that people have done to their own bikes here for ideas, at the moment mine has all the plastics in carbon and twin beowulf carbon cans. I also make and upload motovlogs on YouTube, which has become a new hobby for me.

Thanks all! Gold flat bars also make that black paint job that much better too ;)

Welcome roadsprocket and congratulations on choosing a great bike even if the colours not quite right. Hope you've got to the bottom of your technical gremlins now, stranded at the roadside is never good however great the bike looks! I'd be interested to see how you get on with a quickshifter if you go that route, it all sounds a bit complicated to me but I hear they're great to use. Good luck, I'll look out for your progress.

Thanks for the warm welcome! What colour should it be? ;) unfortunately the gremlins are still here, the bikes been in a workshop for past 9 days so should hopefully come out in good health! I'm still 50/50 with the quickshifter, but if I do go down the route I'll let you know! :)

A great many think black is the way to go but for me I needed a bit of colour in my life, so blazing orange it was, and just for the record I did have a black bike in the past and this one is definitely faster! (It was a Honda CX500 in 1978 but not sure that has any bearing).o_O

Black IS nice and no mistake, but if speed, handling, character are your thing, then it HAS to be racing yellow. ;)

Apparently, the yellow ones make you irresistible to the opposite sex too:)

This still has to be confirmed tho...:D

    Welcome roadsprocket, good place this.

@Wayne Taylor Thankyou! I did last time I checked :D

@Wasp I've green bikes in my life.. flies used to 'mate' on it, I'm sure that's the same for those yellow ones ;)

@PETER CLARKE Not a problem and thanks man!

@littleade Haha, I bet they are! But then again the GS wouldn't like right all clean and shiny!

@Gary McKelvie Thank you, I agree black certainly is!
