    Good afternoon fellow Triumph owners,
I am fairly new to the Triumph ownership. Over the last year I have acquired two, first was the 2011 Thunderbird Storm, and then a 2007 Rocket 3 Classic Tourer came my way, and i could not turn down the deal.
I decided to join the forum for several reasons, the first having access to a large knowledge base and second, hopefully learning where to find items I desire for the bikes.
I'm sure my questions have been asked before, so be patient with the old guy who struggles navigating on a computer.
Enough for my first post, will return with some questions a little later.

    God bless,
    Greg

Hi greg! The search icon up top is a great place to see if other questions have been asked about what you want to know!
Tbh, it's probably already been asked before so have a look about and enjoy!

Welcome to the family. And you know we want you here. That's what this asylum is all about. When you get used to the forum hit the upload a file button and show of the beasties. The inmates here love them.

Thanks so much for all the welcoming.
I attempted to search thru the website last night looking for answers to no avail.
So, I’ll ask my top two questions:
    1) My 2011 Thunderbird Storm makes a high pitch whistling/chirping sound out of the exhaust while under throttle. I can’t figure it out.
    2) I’m looking for the drivers backrest for the same bike.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I remember when I was new to the Triumph world. It was 1981, and I had just acquired a 1971 Bonneville 650 that had been bobbed. I was quite excited about the "oil bearing frame", until I began noticing that many of the welds would rapidly "beard-up" from oil seeping through minute pores in the welds. None of the welds ever leaked bad enough to drip or puddle, but it made keeping the frame clean a huge chore. Thankfully, Triumph has long since abandoned that concept.

In spite of that foible, that old Bonnie was a hoot to ride, and it set me on a course of Triumph ownership that continues to this day. Enjoy your Triumphs, and welcome to what will probably become a life-long addiction. :)

Welcome Greg. Got 3 old Triumphs of my own. They were all orphans, in need of a good home. All were inexpensive, well built, and fun. Enjoy. ...J.D.
