Hello! I am new to the forum and not used to using forums much at all so please bear with me. I'm an old geaser at 66yrs young. Came back to biking last year and had to start from scratch with CBT etc. Hoping to get full licence in the next few months and looking at possibly low cost Tiger 955 or 800. I am 5ft 10" with 32" inside leg. My 1 year old Honda 125 when purchased, now nearly 2 yrs old has suffered an ongoing warning light for most of the year and is now just having parts replaced under warranty. However they still dont know the cause, so have been put off Honda and modern electric gismoes in general. In the 70's I owned a BSA 250 Gold Star and had a Honda 125 in the 80/90's due to licence changes. Hopefully looking fwd to some trouble free biking this summer and on.

Hi and welcome, good luck with your full license (I am sure it will be easy for you with previous experience!) and finding a Tiger.

Thanks to all for the welcomes:
Picked up my Honda 125 today after, effectively a top end / engine rebuild. Parts worth £1000 just over. All because the mechanics at garage and Honda experts could not determine cause of engine warning light coming on. Thankfully it was all done under warranty, and I'm told the warranty will be extended for another year. Re-Tiger, I read somewhere that Triumph parts are hard to get for 10 year old bikes but Honda parts irronically are easier. Is THis true? Should I stick with a honda if I buy old / 10 plus years.?
