Hi everyone. New Street Triple owner from Glasgow here. It's my first bike (started my lessons in July, passed my test in October) and I love it. The cold weather can't keep me off it.

Looking forward to chatting all things Triumph with you all.

    G.

    Hi & Welcome.

Glad to hear your enjoying the bike, word of wisdom, make sure you have given it a good blather in rustproofing if your out on the roads at this time of year, otherwise by spring it will be a rusty nail !!!

ACF50 or similar will give it a better chance to stay looking so clean..

Enjoy the bike and shiny side up

Thanks for the tip. I've been giving it a spray of the Muc Off stuff (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00STEOYGA) after every wash. Which reminds me I need to get some more.

Welcome to the funny farm Greg, great choice of ride mate!
I only ride for pleasure these days so mines tucked up in the garage waiting for the sun .... or at least warm rain!
I've had mine since May and done just over 2,500 miles, I love it and have a trip to Spain to look forward to in June, can't wait.

That stuffs OK on plastics etc, but a proper corrosion inhibitor will protect all your fasteners, banjo, etc.
