Got tired of looking at my elbows, so after looking around, and seeing what Stuart Fillingham had posted on his video's about the Halcyon mirrors, I thought I'd give them a try. Got them really quickly for being shipped from overseas, too. I like 'em.
They look a lot like the ones I made up for my America. Cost me about $30 and some time machining some bar ends to mate them out of scrap aluminum. ...J.D.
Agreed, almost anything is better than the chromed plastic Micket Mouse ears I went for the Triumph oval mirrors on my Bonneville; decent quality, provide good visiblity, and can be found at a very good price (£40 for a pair) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-...-Mirror-Kit-NEW-70-OFF-A9638031-/173882868351
I got them from squaredeals-ltd.co.uk however they don't have that exact type any more, but they have various others. These are the closest but they are brushed rather than chrome: https://www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk/t...ullet-dome-lens-brushedamber-pair-31612-p.asp
i got a pair of the round halcyons from a e-bay seller here in usa, best view i ever had! with high polished 300 series stainless rust is NEVER an issue!!
I've just seen that Staffs Triumph are selling these mirrors for the T100, T120 & Street Twin at just £33 a pair with free postage (only 2 pairs left)... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A9638134...RRORS-PAIR-T120-T100-STREET-TWIN/143551107224
Fast delivery from Total Triumph and easy to fit. I don’t know if it’s a different fit for liquid cooled bikes, looks the same in photos, but the £30 one says for liquid cooled Bikes the £40 definitely fit the air cooled triumphs
