Good lord. Love to see that attitude, what a great example! best of luck with your continuing recovery.
Welcome and cheers from the land just over the hill! Great choice of bike and it looks a beaut. Oldfart
Welcome, Harvey. Delighted to know that you are recovering and are well enough to ... errr ... straddle a saddle again.
Thanks for the welcome and the good wishes for my recovery you seem like a friendly bunch in cruiserland. My philosophy regarding getting back on is that loads of people have bad car accidents but you never hear anybody say "I bet you're never going in a car again".Yes that is a Speed Triple SE it's my daughters ride.
Harvey Mushman li Welcome to the family. You say you are nearly normal now. Well you will fit right in here in the asylum. Most of the inmates are nearly normal here. Had some rough luck lately and do hope you make a full recovery. Looks like you are already started with that lovely steed. Regards & Ride Safe Joe.
Hi Harvey Wishing you a speedy recovery, ignore the pun. If I was to return to a cruiser I would defo go for the same model and colours as yours, Laura is a real beauty.
Welcome to the Forum Harvey Love the determination to get back in the saddle, shows real spirit & determination .. oh and perhaps a little bit of insanity! I had a big off in 2006, not as bad as yours but nevertheless a month in hospital & lucky not to have lost my left leg below the knee. There was never a point that I was not getting back on a bike, couldn't ride a sportsbike for a couple of years but changed to super naked bikes instead, so any which way that works to get back in the saddle is cool, I wish you all the best with your continuing recovery.
Bad Billy Didn't know you were that close. Bet the surgeon was called Ron and spoke with an American accent. Regards Joe.
Wow, your story is one I hope I never have to tell. It seems you're lucky to be alive. And while you're still alive I wish you all the best and keep enjoying the ride! Good luck with the nearly normal ones on this forum....
Glad to hear you're fine (never sure whether this means, actually fine or something else when said by a female of the opposite sex!) but I am sure in your case fine means fine? Anyway nice to see you about on the forum again .
Nice name mr mushman. I raced under that moniker once after misbehaving the year before and getting myself banned from the track. Hope the riding helps you heal
ElectrAbigail. Wow you come back to us. Thought you had disowned us here in the asylum. To scatty for you normal brain. No travels lately either. You know we like to follow your trips and travels. Ride Safe Joe.
