@learningtofly Congratulations on the new bike. It looks terrific. Think you will love it. I am waiting now to see the 800 Trident Triumph have just announced for 2026.
Uhmmmm.... Joe - I thought the 660 was intended to be "the last and only"? Actually, I didn't even remotely think it would be but thought I'd call you out on it!
@Adie P Just looking mate when it gets to a showroom near me. I do enjoy the 660 but still only 350 miles so who knows. Just hope Tracy doesn't see this as i said the last one to her as well. Which it is Hence only looking.
Would you believe it comes on a personalised plate ending TNY? Seems to be worth the best part of a grand. It's fate, clearly!
@learningtofly You just don't know it. We all do. Still a nice machine and cool plate. What else can one ask.
Yes best choice!! You had one before but what was wrong with it? I’ve got a 9T classic that I had now over four years and I read all your reviews and others before I bought it.
Glad to hear about your own 9T, but the thread has moved on a bit since the post you quoted. I've just bought this beauty! There was nothing at all wrong with Tangerine Dream, btw... always missed since it was sold.
@learningtofly hope this is a keeper. You’ll have to have a ride ooop north sometime so we can see it!! Btw I started a fb group ‘RnineT Touring’ since I got very passionate about making touring accessories that others haven’t and these as just as good in many ways to tour on. I also spoke to you under a different name on the 9T forum!!
This will be going nowhere (neither will the Bonnie, though). Let me know who you are “over there”, and I’ll have a look for your FB group. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the invitation up north too. Something to plan for the future, perhaps.
Just received this from the delivery driver!!! Due in... 12 hours. Reverting to the subject of the reg number, I thought I'd see if I could get something similar for the Bonnie. This one is B10 TNY, and the closest I could find - B12 TNY - was listed at £1.8k! I did find a T121 TNY... so near, but so far!
Three hours sleep Sadly. Bea's mum passed away on Monday (she'd been in a care home in Tenerife for years, and for many reasons it was something of a blessing). I'll therefore be in Tenerife from tomorrow until overnight on Saturday/Sunday, so any time with the bike will therefore have to wait until I'm back. It's also going to be raining all day today, which is a bit annoying as I timed the delivery for what the forecast at the time said was going to be a lovely day!
