Just got a set of Avon's for my new Speedmaster: Round at local Bike shop being fitted now. 110/80 18 AM26 Front and 170/80 B15 Cobra AV72 Rear. My 2007 10k still had the original tyres DOT on ME880 rear was Aug 05 and Front Lasertec had cracks in sidewall, during rides in last few days it was skittish on damp roads and across white lines/cats eyes. Back end stepped out coming round a large roundabout was leaning but not enough to scrape anything was a serious sphincter moment so they had to go. Avon's get good write ups here so went with those, cant be any worse than 13yr old rubber
Avon AM 26 is a cracking tyre - had two sets on my T100 over about 5 years; just excellent in all conditions.
