Enjoy…. I ordered one but was told it wouldn’t come until October so have chosen a different bike which I’m very pleased with. I hope you enjoy your 400X
Well peeps Friday I have been told will be the day. And yes I intend to show it of to all. Maybe have a play first. No plans for the 660 yet as I do love it and it needs servicing. This is the 400 my Darling Wife is buying me as my retirement present. She looked at it and said that's horrible. So I have to keep it nice and clean. Quite excited about it now. Not been like this in a long time. Joe
Yes Joe me too excited something about that 400 I’m sure before long we will see loads of them on the road which will be wonderful for Triumph. What colour have you chosen seems to be a few red ones available but no green or black in the uk
@Tri400X Yes i must be lucky as i have got the black one. I have opted for a few extra's like rack and top box and engine and frame protection from the start. Hope you enjoy your one and perhaps we can meet some time for a natter. Joe
It has arrived peeps and i am so chuffed with it. It does take a bit getting used to a light weight that is so nimble. Lots of differences to the 660. But i will take it slowly till it all falls into place. The other thing i found was it does not respond instantly to throttle like the 660 but that is expected and in its own right it does perform nicely. The extra's are still on order as Triumph did not send them yet. But on order for first service. Was tempted as they had a red one there aswell and it looked good in red. Joe
Glenn2926. Believe me i was shocked by the difference between it and say my 660. So nimble and different to the other bikes i have had. Even considering chopping in my 660 for the street 400 asap. Joe
I think that's a great looking bike and seems to be a big hit for Triumph. If I had more sense at 74 I would chop my Speed Triple in for one but I think the Speed will be my last bike.
@TRIPLE X You know i have said that about my last few bikes. Tracy my other half has said she has heard it all before. But this time she said it was sensible move for me as it it so manageable for me as i was starting to struggle with my Bonneville just manoeuvrability as riding was sweet. Joe
