Hi guys ! It's your favourite French-Hipster-Designer-idiot-with-a-wrench-Biker-Whatever ! You liked the Tees for Grand meet up 2016, the coloured version for 2017. This year I decided to change the design. Go for something monochromatic (less colours to print, more money for quality) and after the previous designs inspired by Neo-Retro Northern-American-influenced biker-visual-culture (Sturgis, SoA etc.. ) I wanted to go for something simpler, easier to wear on daily basis, but still with a retro look. Hey, if we keep this, I might paint it on a cheap extra brain-bucket I have at home. (Actually, we could even buy another one (<£50) and make it a prize to win ! ) So tell me what you think, and enjoy !
Like it ! (even if I don't wear an open face lid ) One suggestion, maybe get the destination in there somewhere?
1. I don't either as a general thing, but If I'm going to the movies, or for a charity ride, or something I know I won't go over 40, I sometimes wear it. But tbh, the open face is more of an 'Icon' of biking than an actual thing. 2. The text is editable. It's my old obsession of 'commemorative Tee' Vs 'Cool Tee'. Puting the name in it brands and locks it to one event, but ultimately the choice belongs to the community and as the text is editable, there's no problem putting the name in the helmet.
Sorry, think the open face design is great, didn't mean to indicate it should be something else, was just a passing comment really Personally, I think it would be nice to have the destination, but on the other hand, I think it might look too cluttered then and lose something.....
Man... Do I really sound angry and defensive every time I type something? I feel like everytime I answer to anything people assume i took it bad and feel like they should apologise... I never do ! Don't say sorry ! We'll see if anyone else want to have the destination on.
Nope ! Honest truth I have never seen this before. But it was inspired by other similar stuff I found doing documentation.
Hands up, it was me who told Sam not to include the word "Forum" I think last year we decided that the word was "Geeky" so we decided not to include it in last years t-shirt, so I assumed it would be the same this year? ..but it's up to the guys who are going to the GMU to decide..i can see a poll
Sam, it’s very ‘general’ and could mean any old triumph group. Like Jez said it needs ‘The’ as well as ‘forum’ then it’s actually our family
