Very nice, did it come with the centre stand or did you fit that?

He would have had it fitted ! I don't think triumph do a centre stand. I bought and fitted one myself on my 09" America, from new, they have mounting point on the frame , factory uses it to hold machine during assembly.

    Cheers capt.

    Hi scoot
Capt is right I fitted it myself it's the first thing I did so I could oil the chain and align the back wheel
Got it from George at Tecbikeparts. They're on EBay but I went up there after work to pick it up
I'm a mechanic/fitter by trade so found it easy to fit
Only thing is the bike is low and heavy so takes some to lift
I intend to take mine off so I can weld a bigger foot pad on it as it hurts my foot

My America, put on my own spot/driving lights, you can see centre stand foot pad just below passenger foot board.

Hi "dilligaf", I see in another section you are going ahead with the trailer idea, hows the tow hitch working out ? If you go no springs on the trailer, use tyre pressures to spring/suspend the trailer. It's how the trailer in my picture above works! 6psi empty upto 12/14 psi fully loaded. If you inflate to recommended tyre pressures on the side wall of the tyres It bounces!!! Seen my trailer go 2ft off the the ground with 26psi !

    Cheers capt.

    Cheers mate :)
The car roof box and trailer kit when it arrives will dictate my measurements :p
Until the kit gets here I'm pretty much stuck in limbo
I have been studying your bike pictures and TEZs bike as well as others so pretty much gonna wing it o_O
Have a good idea how it's gonna look when it's finished and I'm aiming to use it for the farmyard rally in about four weeks time
Fingers crossed but don't worry I won't use it until it's finished properly and I think it's safe to do so :)
Thanks for your kind offer though mate ;)
    Update
Just had a text from courier
    Wheel kit sometime tomorrow :grinning:
    Bring it on :)

    Hi Dilligaf,
I was going through some papers (rego and such) and found the "Bill" of Sale for my trailer ! Can't quite believe it"s been 15 years !;) of towing this trailer and 5+ towing the heavier camper :grinning:.
Have you done any more power/performance mods to your America :grinning:
    cheers capt

    Mostly cosmetic changes mate
Now running with cocktail shakers and K&N air filter also removed AIS
This has improved the snatchiness of the throttle but is still not as good as I would like so gonna look at tune ECU and lambda sensor removal as well
Want new tyres as well but as always time/funds are the restricting factors
    Also it's a speedmaster mate,you know...the one that's a bit better than the America :p:yum:grinning:o_O

    Hi Dilligaf ,
Apart from your Speedie having dual front disc's , Its not quite upto My America !! I have done 904 cc Hi compression big bore kit and port and polish job and added fuel, so when you get around 65 to 75 rear wheel horse power We'll agree yours might be a BIT better .... LOL
    :p ;);) :blush::blush::blush:

If you want better responsiveness. Try my tune in the "tuneecu" website, remove the oxygen sensors and the baffling in the airbox, then pump in my tune ! Try it out, if it's not quite right @ least 80% of your dyno work will already be done :p

    cheers capt.
