I picked up a 1967 Tiger Cub. It sat on a showroom for 30 years then to the owners grandson's garage. It was last running in 2010. Mileage is 247. Engine turns freely. Oil is still clean. So how do I approach getting this to run again. Here's what I thought would work.
Remove cylinder head and have a look at the piston and barrel. Assuming they are fine, I would get the cylinder head a good valve job and then reassemble the top end. New oil. Seal the fuel tank.

I've got a Pazon electronic ignition and a Mikuni carburetor I will install. All new rubber. Clean and grease all suspension bushings, wheel bearings, headset. Review brakes front and rear. If it was a VW I'd do the same thing, So that's my plan. First Triumph I have worked on. What am I missing. Thanks.
