Alright then adventure might be a bit of a stretch but I took the tiger for a camping trip for a couple of nights in Keswick and what a fantastic bike it turned out to be. I loaded the bike up with 5 kilos in each of the boxes and then strapped a big dry bag to the seat with all the camping related stuff in it and I bumped the rear shock up by 15 clicks and it handled an absolute dream with no handling issues at all I am super happy with it and can't wait for the next one
Great photo Yorkie199... Wish I could say the same nice things about my Tiger but I can't because it ain't bloody here yet !!!! Anyway that's another story...... glad to hear it took everything in it's stride though
I tried 10 clicks and it still sat down on the back sometimes but the extra 5 clicks made all the difference it was as though there was nothing on the back, obviously I could still feel the weight when stationary......it really made me smile it was that good.
No idea unfortunately, ordered it on Apr7, they said I'd have it early May. I spoke to them on Friday and was told I might have it by early June now. But I've not to worry as one customer has waited almost 3 months on their new bike so I'm not doing too bad they said.............. 'kn amateurs !!!!
It was the Keswick camping and caravan club site and its right on the edge of Derwent water ,it's the first time that I have camped in over 35 years and they were brilliant and talk about spotless amenities......highly recommended.
That's a fine looking camp-ground! And the new style side and top cases look really stunning... I admit, I envy you a bit. We have 27 deg. over here and little puffy clouds in the sky and what have I been doing with my Trumpet lately? Nothing. I am shuttling to the hospital daily where a good friend of mine (visiting from northern Germany) lies with food poisoning; Ha! My parents invited him and me for dinner to my favorite place and he had my favorite meal: Tuna. (...and I coincidentally chose something different that evening) Sometimes life really kicks ass... Those downdrafts we should keep in the back of our heads when running into places like the one above. Then life suddenly is even more enjoyable! Cheers, Daniel
Sorry to hear that Daniel I hope all works out well for n the end ....we are having lots of rain at the moment so not much camping going on ....roll on sunny days
My friend will be out of hospital today. He looks like Rocky after the 9th round... (fell flat on his face; luckily teeth are all fine) I checked that campground on Maps: Lake District is definitely a place, I have to visit on my way to Kielder!
