I have just visited the Triumph website to look at the colour options on the Street Triple and for all three model variations they only show Matt Carbon Black. Is this true or is it down to my choice in limiting cookie usage?

They don’t have a reincarnated Henry Ford working for them, do they?

According to the records mine is Sapphire Black (with the red rear subframe).

I don't know who decides on the colours for the street triple range but they need to listen to customers more. I had a matt black STRS and couldn't get rid of it fast enough, it was awful to keep clean, I bought another in silver ice as soon as it came out, I think one of the design team is probably a distant relative of Henry Ford (you can have any colour as long as it's black). Triumph have a state of the art spray plant, and yet come up with crap paint schemes, the early Street and Speed Triples had some really great colours. The new Speed Triple 1200 RR whilst a nice colour is also matt, ironically it is proving very difficult for dealers to sell, some dealers are offering £2000 off just to get them out of their showrooms, my guess is in another 18 to 24 months it will be dropped from the range.

Only just seen the typo in the thread title. Cringing with embarrassment

Maybe it's a supply problem and they only have Carbon Black paint left? :D

I quite like the matt black / bronze combo on the 2022 RS but also like the brighter colours coming back into some of the other Triumph ranges. I love the idea of a bright Street Triple or two as options.

I do actually love the paint on my bike (silver ice) but more choice would be a good thing I think.

Been saying it for years, and to Triumph in their customer surveys. The colour options are woeful and in particular the roadster range

A friend has just taken delivery of his new Tiger 660 and with the colour matched luggage in the blue I think it looks the bee’s knees.

But like you I’m chuffed with the Sapphire black on mine.

Particularly with the red subframe, because you know what they say about the red ones? :joy::joy::cool:

Exactly the same for BMW cars. I don’t know what the choice is like on their bikes.
