My rear diablo super corsa is due to be replaced, a big flat spot from lots of highway miles and little corners. The front tire seems fine. I was thinking of replacing my rear tire with a Diablo Rosso corsa 2, which should give me a little extra longevity.

Should I replace the front tire with a Rosso corsa 2 as well? Or am I fine leaving the super corsa on the front?

Yup, you’re good. What’s not good is miss matching touring tires with sport tires, or a hard carcass tire with a soft carcass, etc. You could still probably get away with it but any emergency maneuvers or aggressive riding might prove other wise.

Yeah be fine, I just replaced the tyres on my ZX10.
With Michelin Road's, Road 5 on front, Road 3 on back.
As they don't make Road 5 for the back (old bike)
    All is good :)
