Making this triumph forum into a facebook group/page

I dislike Facebook with a passion. I used to have over 500 'friends' but closed my profile 5 years ago and have never missed it since. I wouldn't want to be obliged to re-open it just to access the unique mix of knowledge and banter I can get here.

 

I personally think it's a great way to keep in touch with a load of great things. Freinds family. Tv shows. Bike meets. Other forums and all in one place. Personally I think it's great but that's just my opinion.

 

Most people probably agree with you, I am just a curmudgeon.

 

I was press ganged into joining and find it a bit samey but I've got back in touch with some long lost family members through it,so not all bad.
And I can find out what my kids are doing,though sometimes that's not a good thing

 

And after a few days have passed and you want to go back and find something important to you on facebook, it takes hours of scrouling through shite to maybe find it. FB is a RPITA !

 

Its it's the only time any one asked to be my friend! Then they realised I was the right name, wrong person :-(

 

I've just de-activated my Face-ache account.

 

Don't do "Faceache" or "shitter", probably because I am a miserable old sod but personally I like the forum just the way it is.......... so if it ain't broke! - just my opinion.

 

Yeah, keep the forum as it is for all of the above reasons - but welcome in anyway Steven (we need more Steves on here!).
