Sad to hear that 5 times world champ Lorenzo has announced he will retire at the end of this season. If only he had stayed at Ducati, one of the best motorbike racers ever and the only rider to beat Marquez to a motogp championship. unfortunately due mainly to his bad injuries (fractured back being the main one) he has lost his motivation and decided to call it a day. i'm sure like Stoner he will enjoy his retirement. I wish him all the best

I to wish him well in what ever he chooses now. But I think he had made a sensible choice at this stage. After his spills and injuries any more might be fatal. And he has nothing to prove any more.
    Regards
    Joe.

One of the top modern day Grand Prix riders with 5 world championships under his belt

Always like him, but he’s done the right thing in retiring.

Enjoy your retirement Jorge you’ve earned it.
