I am looking to upgrade the voltage regulator on my 2002 America. I know this is done, but I don't know a lot about it. Can anyone bring me up to speed on the advantages and what is the latest way to do this ? ...J.D.
UPDATE: If anyone else is interested in changing out the old type regulator on their Triumph, I did some research on this. I found a company in Canada that makes what I am looking for. It is a more modern regulator/rectifier that does not use the old school shunt type regulator circuit. The company is called RmStator, and they make these units for a number of different bikes. Now I just need to put it in my budget. ...J.D
