Another update...received this photo today - and it will be ready for the Easter Weekend (including seat cowl and passenger seat)
Ok, lots to ponder! Just called into Plymouth Triumph as was going past. The RS looked and sounded AMAZING! My Speed Triple was a 2014 s with loads of extras. Loved the bike. I test rode a 2016 R and didn’t think it was a big enough step to justify changing at the time. I’ve not even ridden the RS and I think it deffo is the step I wanted them to make. The finish and details are just lovely. The thing now to ponder is do I play dealer against dealer as Exeter where I live is not far (37m) from Plymouth and the Plymouth Guy has already said they will beat Bridge in Exeter! It’s not something I’m that comfortable doing to be honest.
They're starting to turn up in the dealerships now. We took delivery of four yesterday, three black and one white. Lots of interest from visitors to the shop. Our demo has been out a few times now with big grins on the faces of the returning riders.
Went to the dealers to ride the demo, it p1ssed down before I got there. As my new one was already on the bench being PDI'd, I decided not to worry about the demo They have a few more waiting for PDI, 1 black and three white.
I've just paid for the RS this afternoon, so now have an empty wallet and an empty garage space. Any idea of when yours will be ready?
Same here, paid for it this morning instead of riding the demo. I could have pushed for getting it today, but given the weather forecast, being off next week and knowing how busy they were, I just said whenever it's ready, so it might be Tuesday now...
I skipped the demo too - on the basis that if I didn't like it, I'd be in big trouble Tuesday - that's 5 sleeps
hope the seat cowl is a better color match than the one i just picked up for my white 2016 iv bought ones from china for £25 for sports bikes that match better.
