Yep, it's a Hornet, we have one flying around the back of my house, the wifey says, oh look at that big wasp, I says, thats a bloody hornet...RUN!
I just hope it isn't a scout and looking to set up base near us...I do have a 6ft weed burner in the garage, but my guess is that it isn't anywhere long enough to be safe

Small world indeed. I recall seeing your posts but alas the old place is a shadow of its former bustling past.

 

It is that, but the orginals are now an aging model and pointies a few years old now. The core of the people who were on there 4~5 years ago seem to have moved on. Few remnants still kicking around, still mates with the Ecosse section. Was a decent forum in the most, and I stayed on even tho moved from SV to GSXR. Still drop in to chat to Bibs.Facebook seems to be the conduit for SV Ecosse section now. Keep in touch with quite a few guys of the forum.

Did you attend the SV AR at Bellingham a few years back? We're off there this year for our Grand Meet Up in July, camping still available!

 

Several of the active localities moved to Freindface, which is a shame as I don't have/need/want an account.

Went to an AR just the once but it was the one by Loomies in Hampshire.
