TonyG Yes great write up and what a trip. Don't think i could manage something like it. Maybe in my dreams. Regards & Thanks. Joe.
I rode my Bonneville down to Oregon last summer. The sunshine was brutally pleasant and upon arriving I was served a huge French meal. What with the wine I could barely walk afterward! To top it off, I couldn’t use the cruise control the entire way. It was a grueling experience. That’s why I really “get” the story linked to this thread. Anyone who hasn’t lived it, well, you won‘t understand.
Glad you all liked it. I just thought the couple were quite inspiring and it was a good read for anyone that owns a Bonnie. I'm guilty of pampering my bikes but it's better to just ride the s*%t out of them.
