That's not on ! Maybe worth calling Triumph customer service to ask what you should be able to expect from, their agents ?
As i live only a couple of miles from the factory, i have been over there today and they have given me the email address for the customer service manager for the uk. I have emailed him this afternoon, and await his reply. Here are a few pics of the state of the bike.
My bike had oil showing low down on the engine both sides - more that on your pics. It was spreading around from the cam cover gasket , is it possible that the oil is spreading from the top of your engine ? If so a simple fix and may be a generic issue if we both had the same fault .
Another thing i have noticed with the bike in the few days of ownership, is if you brake hard the oil light come on!....surely that cant be right either.

Thats how I'm feeling now....customer rights i have 30 days, and are within my rights to ask for a full refund.
I was outside the 30 days and with a bit of hassle (the I'm not going away type) Triumph replaced the bike with a new one.
General poor finish (engine paint) but mainly the quality of the ohlins fork legs (badly machined). I was hyper critical but had just spent 12k and the law says you don't have to find all defects at point of sale so "signing" acceptance of the bike means nothing although the dealer may make it seam that it does.
Bike was picked up this morning in a van by Piddock Triumph....they have given me a street triple as a loan bike, and will be letter me know later what the issue is with my RS.
No new from the service team.......but i have emailed the sales team today asking to get me a new bike......not sure i would ever trust the bike no matter what they repair.
How strange, having started this very worrying thread I'd have expected some kind of conclusion? Perhaps my expectations are too high?
