I've been to Bruge on several occasions, @Sandi T . It is gorgeous. The last time I was there our hotelroom was at canal level, and we could see swans floating past from our bed... magical!
She's great ! Hey Sandi, have you noticed who pops up briefly at the ambulance scene " In Bruge " ? Puts a small change, possibly ? to the ending. R. I. P .. Jeff Beck
Yep, watching that too, whilst being pi$$ed off with the Yellowstone midseason break... Helen Mirren has been a badass all her life, I think! (fantastic in "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover).
I watched the Old Way with Nicholas Cage, terrible film but brilliant acting from the young actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong. Then being desperate for a good western I rewatched Old Henry which is the best western I've watched in the last decade.
I completely agree, @Vulpes. These "midseason breaks" are frustrating. Just when you get completely hooked (like obsessively hooked I have to admit), the rug gets pulled out and we're advised that a show will return on xxxxx after a midseason break. Sheesh!
Apparently 1923 will be back in 3 weeks time, yellowstone possibly this summer - excruciating! So I was so pee'd off I booked a weekend away to Barcelona this March! Battling off the winter dip!
Two more series that Mr. Sandi and I have enjoyed recently are "The English" (which is somewhat in the same vein as Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923) and "Slow Horses" with Gary Oldman as the boss of a group of misfit, demoted MI5 agents.
