Just watched this one based on your post. And it really was a good one. I'm still trying to figure out how the zombie's figured in it.
Yeh, didn't get the zombie thing, loved the stories of the safes{s}. Just watched this https://images.search.yahoo.com/ima...irfind-04&hsimp=yhs-04&hspart=airfind&type=y1 … always good.
LOVED Moneyball! I haven't seen it in years. I think it may be time to watch it again. Thanks for the reminder, @Georgez!
We watched Old Henry last night on the recommendation of @David Cooper and @andypandy (thank you!). Both Mr. Sandi and I really enjoyed it...a terrific Western. A friend of ours who watched the trailer but hasn't yet seen Old Henry said it reminded him of the plot of the movie Nobody but as a Western. Hmmm, it kind of does now that I think about it. So if you've seen and liked Old Henry, perhaps consider checking out Nobody, too. Mr. Sandi and I liked that movie a lot.
Watched "The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" last night. It was a bit slow and laborious I thought but if you've got just over two hours to kill it might be worth a punt. ( 2 out of 5 for me)
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched The Eiger Sanction… but I come back to it as comfortably easy film to watch…pretty dated now, but good fun, dramatic scenery and the delectable Brenda Venus playing George…
For some light-hearted entertainment and laughs we decided to rewatch the Despicable Me series. Despicable Me last night. Despicable Me 2 tonight. Perhaps Round 3 tomorrow night or the night after (gotta catch up on the latest Yellowstone episode that aired tonight that we DVR'd). Of course the DM series must be followed up by the Minions movies.
We watched Cruella last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. A good friend recommended it to us or it wouldn't have even been on our radar. The leads, Emma Stone and Emma Thompson, were both excellent.
6 Days. From a time where there was a proper leader in charge of the country, unlike BoJo and his merry band of eunuchs.
Just watched The Last Duel, worth watching for our very own Jodie Comer, from the highly acclaimed series Killing Eve, I really enjoyed it, a Knightly tale.
Me and the Mrs watched Jungle Cruise at the weekend. Cheesy but very watchable, like most Dwayne Johnson movies. It helps that Emily Blunt is easy on the eyes and Jack Whitehall was a hilarious version of himself. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0870154/
Mr. Sandi and I just watched Jungle Cruise last night. As you said, @Geoff Butler, it's "cheesy but very watchable". It was fun to watch an adventurous, humorous movie with some cool effects. A nice "escapism" evening.
My wife and I had a "James Bond" special with 4 Daniel Craig films. We enjoyed it and are looking forward to the end of our lockdown situation to watch the latest one in the cinema, if they open again in 2021.
