Great actors and a gripping story.

Saw it a second time last week after years and still was deeply impressed.

Watched Letters from Iwo Jima the other day. Looks at the battle for the island from the Japanese perspective. A good watch and a bit sad in places but I still think the Japs were a right set of evil b'stards !

Just watched 10 Cloverfield Lane, better than I expected. Missus was hiding behind a cushion!!!
Worth a watch. Not give anything away, and recommend you don't watch the trailer.
    John Goodman brilliant as always.

    Anyone seen 'Captain Fantastic'?
Don't know, why they called it that - reminds me of Marvel comics - but I liked the movie.

Just been to the cinema to see Rogue One. Really good, very enjoyable star wars romp.
Beginning a bit slow bringing parts together, but once it gets going a bloody good watch.
Will buy on dvd when it's released. Better than force awakens, which I thought was OK'ish.

Watched "Bad Words" last night, its on sky cinema currently. Look in the indie section, or similar. About a 40 year old man (Jason Bateman) who enters the national spelling bee competition. Doesn't sound promising but it it. The wee boy is great in it too.

Very funny, - "screw the ice cream, I want to touch them!!!", if you watch it, you will laugh.

Wolf of Wall Street, based on a true story i think they used some artistic license, but i can imagine it being exactly as in the film..Leonardo dicaprio was excellent, i properly laughed out loud at the scene where the out of date pills kicked in!! :D:D:D

Just back from the cinema, watched Ice Guardians, documentary about the role of the enforcer in ice hockey. A unique role in sports, employed to protect team mates and fight opposition.

Made me miss playing ice hockey, wanted to be back on the ice flooring the opposion. :D happy days. Then they started listing injuries, then I remembered why I don't!!!!

Watched Manchester by the sea tonight, great film but don't watch it if you're feeling down. Not a feel good movie, but then again it is on a depressing sort of way.
