This is wonderful, David. Just watched this trailer and am very much looking forward to watching the movie itself. Thanks!
I loved this film, stollydriver! Way more than I anticipated I would. Thought it was very well done and the music was outstanding.
Sprinter, you could post this in the Thread of Positive Awesomeness too! It is positively awesome! So fun and funny and happy it made me nearly giddy. Thanks!
Also got "Speed is my need" a behind the scenes documentary about bike racers, really worth a watch, I was a bit disappointed not to see our very own racer Bad Billy on there though, maybe it was made before he began his racing career
I watched episode 1 of BBCs Dracula last night, it's a recipe for nightmares, shocked me so much I nearly jumped up off my chair.
In these days I've watched Ford vs Ferrari (big disappointment), The Lighthouse (also big disappointment) and Portrait of a Lady on Fire (awesome).
I'll take a pass on that one, then, David. I get enough of a fright reading the morning paper here in the U.S. these days.
Currently binge watching Messiah on Netflix Thought provoking series once you get past the fact half of its in Arabic with English subtitles! All the best nick
Just watched El Camino and agree all the way with you, DCS. OK but a little predictable and a thin plot. Definitely Vince Gilligan's hand in it, though. Anyone know what else he's done?
See what tha means, @Sandi T. , just seen ont news that your lots taken some high ranking Iranian general out, at Baghdad airport!
Hey now, @Foxy1, don't be including me by saying "your lots"! I had no involvement whatsoever in the decision to take out that general.
Mr. Sandi and I went to see Ford vs. Ferrari tonight. There are only a couple of theaters that are still showing it and we definitely wanted to see it on the big screen. I really enjoyed it! I really knew very little about the story and now I'm quite interested in the facts, lore, and history behind the movie and these events. Plus now I'm all jacked up to go see the Ford Shelby GT350R down the street at Steve's local Ford dealer. I suspect a test ride off the table.
Just watched Downsizing on Netflix. Our daughter put it on, and I didn't expect to enjoy it, but it was ok for an evening's home viewing (wouldn't pay to see it), and quite funny. Strange story of miniaturising people to save the plant's resources - with unusual and unexpected twists.
After reading t'comments on how good t'BBC's Dracula was, we watched it o'er t'weekend, and it was reyt good. Some great one liners in it, thoroughly enjoyed it.
SAFE on Netflix, starring Michael C Hall (Dexter) each character has a secret and you’d never guess the end
