Bloody hell, I never thought I'd see that film mentioned.
Here's a tenuous bike related link for that film - there's a scene where a mother and daughter are walking through the park, the little girl has an ice cream in her hand.....the mother (and it is the girls real mother) is someone I used to know, and her brothers run DraganFly motorcycles in Bungay, who are specialists in Ariels and BSA's. (I did say it was a tenuous link!)

Anthropoid - the true story of the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich.
Cillian Murphy makes his Thomas Shelby Peaky Blinders character seem quite tame by comparison. If you like gritty war films that aren't all about CGI action sequences there aren't many better watches around at the moment.

Watched The Revenant yesterday. Good film, not brilliant, but a decent enough picture. Tom Hardy did his 'batman's Bain' voice again, so had to put the subtitles on for him, which is a bit feckin annoying. And the film was a bit stretched out, could have easily cut as couple of scene's and maybe some of the daft dream sequences to take some time off the overly long runtime of 2.5 hrs.

Overall, a decent enough film, would recommend to watch.

It has to be better than the original Madmax film :eek::eek::eek:, i thought i better watch it a few years ago as I'd heard it was a "Classic":eek::eek:
it has to be one of the worst films I've seen and as for the acting :eek::eek::eek: the only other madmax movie I've seen was the one with Tina Turner, i can't remember much about it, but it wasn't quite as bad as the first one, but that wouldn't have been difficult:rolleyes:,a while back a mate of mine was raving about a film called "The loveless" a biker film, so i ordered it off amazon for about £2.00 ...that should have set off alarm bells!! It sounds a good film but if its ever on TV Don't watch it..you have been warned!! When i told him it was sh*te he did admit to being Pis*ed at the time

The wife decided she fancied watching a horror film, so we sat down and put Lake Eerie on. Don't bother, it is beyond bad - I would rather come around and clean and lube YOUR chains than watch that again, that's how bad it is!

Seeing Tom Hardy mentioned, Mad Max is hardly one to remember, but Legend (the story of The Kray twins) is a decent film.

Have to agree with you Dougie, I watched the original Mad Max a few weeks ago and settled down all warm with nostalgia and oh my God what a load of cack, lol. We were certainly served up some shit back in the day.

Have to admit I also watched the original Mad Max a few weeks ago, and yes, it has not aged well. Always preferred the 2nd one, nice balance of plot and violence, much better film. It was more Mad Max 2 that was a big hit back in the days of VHS.

As for the remake - :mad:what a vile putrid:mad: bunch of absolute:mad: shitey waste of 30 minutes:mad: of my life !!! Only 30 minutes? yes I had to turn it off it was soooooo bad !!! Plot ???? The only plot that film was of use to was my vegetable plot where it should be buried under 2 foot of festering cow shite. (I don't have a vegetable plot, just added for comic effect;), before all the old men on here start discussing the merits of horse v cow shite !!!:D) Never have I seen a film so lacking in plot!

There should be wanted posters on every street corner - Have you seen a plot for mad max ? Very small pointless plot, but would greatly help this turd of a cinematic release.

Even Fast and Furious films have some semblance of a plot !!!!

Now then, the last dog I had, a beautiful Weimeraner bitch called Misty loved to roll in horse shit. Never recall her rolling in cow shit. So I deduce from that data that bitches prefer horse shit so it must be better than cow shit.

My lab loves to eat cow shit !!!! And she's a bitch. Makes her sick as the proverbial dog, and shits all over the utility room, but still she eats it when given the chance !!!! Dogs are thick as shit.

My dog prefers sheep shit, plays havoc with her digestive problem, costing me a new rug 3 times a year!

Watched Hell and Highwater last night. Very good. Before that, the latest Jungle Book, on my own, no kids around. Well good. Brilliant CGi. Great voice acting from Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Bill Murray and the late Gary Shandling. And Christopher Walken's as King Louie singing I Wanna Be Like You, well singing in the loosest sense of the word, but it has to be heard.
