I think few of them was offering covid passports or viagra or summat… I think I hit the ignore button…
It might just be a coincidence, but I live about 23 miles from RAF Coningsby, and on a normal day, I get to see between 1 and 3 fighters a day go over our house, today I've seen 11, in the last 3 hours.
Could be a coincidence, but could be they are being mobilised. I truly hope Putin does not go in any further cause it will be carnage.
Peeps don't worry can't see what's bothering everyone. Didn't you see we had an hour long Cobra meeting with free food and drinks. And America has waved the big stick. Bet he is cowering under his desk now. But still you know that Nostradamus predicted that Europe would be ruled by the Yellow man and the Chinese have been preparing for some time now. Have you seen their bike utter rubbish. Joe
Bloody hell. Joe, I see you've agreed with my fighter post flying over my house. Where are you, pop in for a cup if tea
Bikerman. I would love to share some time with you as you are a great member. But in this weather it might have to wait. I am in Bucks. Heathrow area. But will get your way one day soon. Before the war i hope. Joe
Bikerman I do have some somewhere must dig them out. Got my spies out there reporting back to me. Joe
It seems our President has played into Putins hands by indirectly raising the price of Russian oil with his I’ll informed cutting of US oil production and exploration.I had hoped we were done with oil related conflicts under Trump but No! The way to stop Putin is his wallet! Drive down the price of his natural gas and oil then boycott him and he can’t afford conquest!
I feel another interesting thread coming on... 'What Joe saw with his binoculars' Or cut off his pipelines, as the Germans have done, and put sanctions in place that target the industries that matter most to Putin. Also, target all the individuals that will cause unrest in the corridors of the Kremlin.
I dont suppose China will go as far as sanctions… a wagged finger at most https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-...as-deal-using-new-pipeline-source-2022-02-04/
This is now a dangerous situation, and I foresee years of tit for tat actions which could lead to much worse. The world would be a much safer place without Mr Putin and without geopolitical alliances. Both Russia and Ukraine are run by corrupt oligarchs, some of whom have been generously funding a certain political party in this country with the spoils of their corruption. (Going to give it all back now, Boris?) What strikes me, though, is the astonishing level of hypocrisy being expressed about it at all levels. Keir Starmer was quoted today as saying: "A sovereign nation has been invaded in a war of aggression based on lies and fabrications." Pity he didn't tell that to his predecessor Tony Blair and George Bush when they invaded and occupied a sovereign nation, Iraq, in a war of aggression based on lies and fabrications about non-existent WMDs. (To quote just one example.) Nobody in this conflict has clean hands.
Was at a friends last weekend in Cheltenham, they mentioned that they've seen a lot more B52's than normal flying around Fairford recently.
I think @joe mc donald hit the nail on the head. It's the yellow man we need to be more concerned about
tcbandituk Yes they were making the most of the cheap fuel before it went up. Now they can't afford to fly at all. Joe.
Well I think there's a long and enlightening, if not alarming, thread to be had regarding your binoculars, Joe.
