Personally I’d ride it throughout winter and not worry too much about being too delicate about it. If you had an expensive Brough motorcycle I might suggest otherwise.
I ride winter too, but my bikes not brand spankers, so already has a little patina. Defo watch for the salty roads though, good wash, rinse and squirt with fs365
