A documentary on the career of John Surtees, who died in March this year at the age of 83, is to be screened on the Yesterday freeview TV channel in the UK at 9pm on Sunday (September 10).

The one-hour film, John Surtees: One of a Kind, traces his career from his start in racing on a 500cc Vincent motorcycle in 1950 to the moment at the 1964 Mexican Grand Prix when he became the only competitor to win world titles on two and four wheels.

Mike Nicks, the co-author of Surtees’ 2014 autobiography, My Incredible Life on Two and Four Wheels, is the Executive Producer of the documentary, which is made by Rampage Studios.

Yeah it was great Its a series I watched the one about Jim Clark the other day it was really interesting too, on Sunday at 9pm it's Jackie Stewart..not sure who else has been or going to be on. Agree the 2 wheeled 4 wheeled record seems pretty safe for now but never say never!
