Do you remember a colour Ford used many years ago called Imperial Blue?
It was used on the Cosworth Escort among others.
It was absolutely gorgeous IMHO!
My Hayabusa powered MK Indy was painted in that colour. Unfortunately, Ford stopped using it :(

    Funny story time...

My mate on a heavily modified CBX1000 was sat at a set of traffic lights. Cossie Escort pulls up next to him & the driver starts revving the engine.
My mate gestured for the guy to wind his window down, & said....

"As cars go, I hear they are quite nippy? But trust me son. My bike will suck it into the airbox & blow it out of the exhaust!!"

I was laughing so hard, I nearly missed the lights changing! :joy:

Pass, I was laughing too hard to bother looking. He didn't try racing us though. So I assume he was left with a bad case of small willy syndrome? :joy:

I've claimed that statement as my own & used it many times since.
    Unfortunately, not recently Pete.
Especially not when out on my T100. I'd need to choose my victims very carefully these days mate :kissing:

Kids in 1200cc Corsa's with sewer pipes for exhausts. Are about as much as Annie the T100 would comfortably see off :kissing:  :p

That's my current favourite shade of blue. Whenever I try to describe it to someone. I always refer to it as "Colin Mcrae Subaru blue" :)

    PS...
If that's an R34 Skyline? I had a passenger ride in one many years ago. F#ck me, it was rapid! With handling to die for. It did seem that the computers were doing more than the driver though? I say that cos its owner went from somebody that couldn't drive a soapy stick up a dogs arse. To "The Stig" as soon as he purchased that Skyline.

I had a 34 gtr v-spec when I was younger, it was the fastest car I've ever owned, had lots of work done to it.
It was a complete monster hahaha wished I had the bugger now, they've doubled in price :joy:

I have a new phone so I don't have any pics to upload but will do tomorrow.

Hello, Pete, hello, hello can you still hear me mate?

Operator, I was chatting to my young friend RSPete from the land of pies, tabs, Newcastle Brown & heart attacks in your 40's. It appears we've been cut off? Please could you reconnect our call via your switchboard.

I saw these bikes on autotrader, they say they have the TFC indicators fitted. I was under the impression that TFC parts were only orderable by TFC owners ... if the dealers themselves can order up, fit, and sell bikes with them fitted, couldn't a dealer essentially just recreate a whole TFC?

I mean, it's only the indicators, but doesn't that set a bad precedent? One could say "shades of grey", but one could say "slippery slope" ...
