    Hey guys,
my name is Thiago and I'm from Brazil.
i bought a new 2023 scrambler1200 and I was travel by 130 km from my home. There I noticed that the coolant leaked a little onto the floor after parking the bike. I went to Triumph and they told me that there was a lot of coolant and the reason it was leaking was that it was above the limit. After that I started to notice the temperature at 5 bars on the information panel (as in the photo) and wanted to know if it was normal.

    is it normal?

When I'm on the road it's 4.5. But in the city aways 5 bars.

I have to admit that I've never given the temperature gauge much of a look since getting my Scram. But going by my Tiger800, they all seem to run at the middle of the gauge. So long as it's not getting towards the top end I think it's OK.
Check that the fan is working when it should.

Maybe check the hose clamps for tightness; I haven't gotten into how to check the coolant level.

the coolant level we can check looking through this hole

to see better you can put the cell phone's flashlight in the hole used to top up the coolant.

So, you see the level is up. Have you ever changed the coolant?

In my case, the coolant overflowed because it was above the limit. Now it's ok (between minimum and maximum)

my point is: is it normal 5 bars when we are talking about temperature on the panel?
