Yours truly about to take a '49 Vincent Black Shadow around the Peterborough Arena track at the MCN Festival. A great experience on a £60k museum piece!

Our campsite neighbour had a Triumph trike

Very cool - also got a go on a BSA Star Twin (next-gen A7 from my grandfather's bike in my profile pic) and a '63 BSA Golden Star. This was the first time on a bike with gear change on the right, and reversed "1 up, 4 down" so took a few laps to get my head round that, and the lack of decent brakes, but the Vincent didn't hang about and was surprisingly nimble when it got going. Loved it.

Spotted these Street Fighter bikes at the services on the way to Bradford. Two had no padded seats and they're from Germany!

Is that a tyre repair canister tie wrapped to the front fork leg ?

Looks like an old Honda 4 engine by the looks of it. Probably a cb500/4, could be a mike hailwood replica?
