    Well I live on the outskirts of Oldham (13th) and I must admit it's grim. It's one of those towns that the government sends lots of asylum seekers to, I think in an attempt to persuade them to go back to where they came from. Oldham does however have some very beautiful countryside around the edges. I never go into the town itself.
    For your entertainment, here is a link to a 1976 tourist film about Oldham or as it's pronounced locally Owdam.

    Less about the interviewer, who is a bit a self-absorbed (but then it is his channel I guess) but much more about the interviewee... “Chopper” Charlie Weisel... a fairly laid back dude who has travelled globally on his fully rigid chopper.     Great video and what an absorbing unassuming dude. His wife is in the forces and goes on tour so he gets on his chop and goes on his own tours. He'll be over here in Europe again this year. Ships his bike over and enjoys. Great.
