Just got a quote for renewing my bike insurance and its gone up by £20 yet my car insurance has gone down by £30 makes no sense, Anyone suggest a company that is good with classic customs?
Just had my renewal quote through from Hastings Direct and approx. £50 up from last year and that's before I tell them about the suspension upgrade so went on multi quote site (bike insurer) didn't really get a lower quote as such but maybe they will include the updates; anyway got a phone call from the site out of the blue and they are going to re-phone later as I was busy. Looking maybe at the Triumph insurance package.
To be fair I was surprised at how cheap the quote was last year so this years figure would have been acceptable but they aren't going to cover the suspension changes. The joke is I just looked up the cost of the original Triumph parts over the replacements and there is almost no difference in terms of cost.
Well gave up trying to get in touch with Hastings Direct on line and got a quote from Bennetts for around £165 so I got in touch with a lady there to notify about the suspension changes and ended up with a quote for double the original. Still looking...
