Welcome, and thanks for making me laugh.

Off the top of my head, Michelin Pilot Road 4 are probably worth looking at. Then again, I'm a relative newbie so I stand to be corrected :)

No worries, mate! I'm a Triumph newbie myself and these kind blokes have consistently overlooked my duncery and answered all sorts of questions. Welcome to the heathen horde!

Hi everyone I'm a newbie here so be gentle. My triumph scrambler has sat still for over a month .went to start up yesterday and the dreaded click .lights on dial light up. Is this a low battery or starter/ selanoid issue you think

Probably just the battery, the cold kills em if not trickle charged. Charge it up fully and see how it goes or connect another battery or starter pack then try.
You may get more response if you post problems on the technical help pages.

Well. Here's a thing. I didn't buy the Daytona in the end because the one I'd found turned out not to be what it said it was.

So I bought a Honda CB650 instead. Then a Ninja 650 when the Honda (and I) got flattened by an SUV.

But I sold that little Ninja a couple of months ago and now I've bought a Trumpet after all. A 2003 T100, which seems to have had the most lavish of lavish attention, er, lavished on it by previous owners.

It's made up of as many parts from Baak and Tec as it is from Hinckley and it has less than 7000 miles.

And hopefully I can figure it how to put a picture of it in here:

I've been out today for fart about getting a feel for things. One thing I've already learned is that old Bonnies don't have hazard lights. Who knew?

I'm enjoying the burly torque and simple clicky input of the controls. The rumby tread on the tyres is soon overcome once you get a shift on, and it tips in to corners in a relaxed slow motion-y way.

I will now attempt to add another photo from this morning. Wish me luck!

I'm not into the Hinckley Bonnie's, used to have a T140 and prefer them.
Love the look of yours tho, verrrrry nice, now if they all looked like that......
