My friends tell me get a bike not a bra..........but i'm in love
    Tiger 800 xcx 2018-19 is the name......... :broken_heart: :broken_heart: :broken_heart:

Help for my thoughts will be appreciated

As i know nothing about Triumph (Honda:broken_heart::broken_heart:-Yamaha:broken_heart: fun) i would like some feedback
    from problems concering that model,
As i have seen in photos the new 2020 has the rear footpeg with screws changeable if something goes wrong, has anybody experience a fall, with 2015-9 and which are the consequences in that part??
    what about cornering???
    what about brakes???
    what about air protection ???
    what about off road abilities???
what about weight - center of gravity ???
    what about consumption?????

    Also....
    1) i'm thinking maybe waiting for the 2020 that will come next year? i have heared that will be 900cc, showa
suspension, and about same hp 95ps( anybody knows somethink else??? ) OR 2019 with WP, and free from child sickness?????, with 3 panniers included that are limited offer now in my country......

Tiger Owners ARE YOU HAPPY WITH A BIG SMILE????????????????

    Thank you for your time
    George

    P.S, sorry for my English

I think consumption was a disease back in the cowboy wild west days...

A friend of mine wouldn't ride anything else. He regularly goes touring and always sings the bikes praises. He tried the 1200 but preferred the 800.

I have ridden the Tiger 800 XRX and to be honest it's one of the best bikes I've ever ridden. More than enough power to work two-up; great long distance seat comfort; good on fuel.

Altogether a great bike - just too much money for me right now.

A Yamaha Tracer MT-07 Tracer. Powerful enough, light, amazing fuel economy on my last trip (Nearly 2000 kms) of 3.8lts/100 kms or about 75 mpg.

They are a great bike all round. Not rode one myself as I prefer the Bonnies. They get great write ups and are given a name for both styles of riding on and off road. Take a look on YouTube. And of course welcome to the family.
    Kind Regards & Ride Safe
    Joe.

If there is a new one coming then the existing one I’m sure will be offered at some attractive pricing to clear before new one arrives

Yep, some great deals to be had if your dealer likes to pre-register a few as long as you don't mind having the last model and you are not already in love with the new one. Suspect it's too late for misty eyed rantanplan though, seems like he is too far gone!!

All these bits you want can be added any time. The most important bike is to get the bike.
    Regards
    Joe.

I've not ridden an XcX, but my ABS roadie is the best bike i've ever owned. I'm tempted to buy a brand new one when i've sorted cashing in my pension, if that works out i will be trying a couple of different models of the 800.

I test rode the 800 XRX with about 10 other Triumph test riders. I was behind the leader and he started going faster than I was comfortable riding on a road I was unfamiliar with. I focused, pushed my fear aside and did the most spirited ride in recent memory. I swear that bike was reading my mind and went perfectly through corners, blind sweepers and a logging road.

I believe the Tiger 800 can do anything and I'll grab one when I find a marked down leftover. It will be my only bike for fun runs and touring.

I had one for an afternoon, used a tank of fuel before I took it back. Absolutely cracking bike. Perfect fueling, gear ratios were on the money, great torque and smooth. Heated seat was uncomfortable so I'd have one without or a different make. If the new 900 (@100+ bhp so I hear) is better in any way it'll be a class leader and a benchmark bike.

I've got an xrt, the road version. It's a very capable bike in all departments.

Only problem is the looks. When it took a beating with the ugly stick they didn't know when to stop. As much as I like mine I've never had a backward admiring glance as I've walked away from it. Perhaps the 900 wont be such an ugly duckling.

I’ve a 2012 roadie and that will get swapped for another tiger, prob 2017-19 once the 900 comes out and the 800s are worth didly. As my learned friend wessa said in the case of the 900 “ be wary of an unproven bike!” As new triumphs do seem to have a lot of teething problems. For me I’ll get another 800 and wait for all those recalls to finish before venturing into the 900 realm.
