After standing my ground and standing up for myself I have been threatened with a ban by Saul on his forum which a lot of you are members of. thetriumphmotorcycle.com I have posted this on his forum:- Well it seems I’m going to be banned. Saul doesn’t like what I have to say and he doesn’t like me defending myself in private messages between the two of us. It’s his forum so he can decide what we are allowed to say. No doubt he will remove this post. Maybe he will tell you all what it’s like to be so weak a person as to be hurt by mere words. That's a shame! You are a valued contributor to the forum. Don't know what has gone on but hopefully it can be sorted.
Well that's it, i'm banned until the 22nd June. Not sure i'll be going back, I don't like being micro-managed.
That's quite an ironic comment really. That's just how it felt like in Saul's messages to me, a teacher talking down to a naughty boy. Do as teacher says or you'll be punished. It was ok for him to advertise his forum on here, he had an excuse for that, but not ok for me to supply a link to this forum to a fellow biker who needed help. There were other things to, but I just felt he became too controlling.
I dont go in that forum any more, I know I am obviously sadly missed. Lol I posted a joke in there which had no bad reviews, only 'funny' icons but he deleted it without telling me, guess I wasn't on his xmas card list. I wasn't banned, I banned myself and I'm so gutted I can't go back, boo hoo. I prefer this site anyway, I've been in here since 2014 so way before phoenixgate, seen hundreds come and go and a small few hang around. I'm not a prolific poster, tend to be a loner , not one of the cup of tea and a cake guys, more a quick pint, bag of chips, look at the bikes and bugger off again , guess I'm antisocial really but I enjoy trying to help folk if I can with my limited knowledge and feel I am adult enough at 69 yrs to please myself what I post...within reason of course. My loss obviously, lol.
Talking of ice cream, I rode passed Doddington milk bar today - didn't stop as hhete were no bikes and it was full of kids

Interesting, that's precisely the kind of actions I protested about and Saul didn't like it. If something isn't in line with his politics, he deletes it or messages you with a warning that you are breaching forum rules. I suppose it's his forum and he can run it as he likes but to my mind, a forum should allow reasonable free speech. By the way Dave @sprintdave , could you remind us of the joke that got deleted please ?
