Been offline for a year or so, having traded my Speedmaster and sold the Striple and went over to the dark side and bought a bloody Harley!

Hated it and binned it off after 6 months and so was bikeless for a while, until yesterday, picked up a nice Legend tt. 2000 model 24 k on the clock and so now back in the fold :)

Ride her home from North Yorks to Northumberland and love how she rides and those pipes sound awesome. Got the smile back, looking forward to a coast run next summer.

I did similarly not long ago, but absolutely loved the Harley (only sold it to address some chronic health issues, in fact). Also very happy to be back in the Triumph fold, though.

    Enjoy the new bike.

Great choice Pitbull. I have one just like it. Frankly, I have been riding since the 60's and have never understood the HD thing. Too fat. Too heavy. Too ugly. Like a really ugly woman. To each his own I guess. Welcome back to the world of real motorcycles. [Save the hate mail folks. I will never change]. ...J.D.

Love the dual pipes! Since I'm not familiar with the model, what engine does it have? Do you think that you will add a windscreen? If you are mostly on slower roads, that may have less value.
I've got a 2011 Sprint GT and 2013 Trophy SE, so not a classic look for either. I bought the Trophy for the unmatched wind protection, as it is comfortable on the highway sections of my rides. Although both are sport tourers, the Trophy leans closer to a cruiser, and the Sprint is more of a [heavy] sporty bike.

    Hi
It's a cut down Thunderbird and has a 900cc engine. Looking to add bar end mirrors and may change the pipes for a set of Delkevic as the current pipes are not road legal.
There is a mini screen fitted so I will probably stick with that as I tend to take leisurely rides these days and enjoy the scenery.

Welcome back, @Pitbull! That Legend looks good. Hope you're enjoying it. As a Triumph AND Harley owner, I'm curious what Harley you bought--and hated?

    Ahhh, a Sporty.

I’ve had lots of Harleys and currently have two that I love. Not one of them has been a Sportster ! Now I can understand your distaste. no offense to anyone reading this that might own and love the sportster, but they’re not my cup of tea in Harley world.
