Had the same type of thing with Bikesure. Insured my America with them. Tried to insure the Bandit a couple of months later with them too but found it cheaper elsewhere. They are the effing bandits.

Since my claim for the first accident in March has been settled, I have been receiving automated calls on my personal mobile from scammers offering personal claims specialist services.
    Pretty much ambulance chasers

I never received these calls before the accident and can only presume my details have been sold on....

Not only do my premiums increase but the buggers also profit from selling my details.

How did you get on with the claim? Did they attribute any liability with you?

1st incident in March, an Audi cut across me on the A40 into London
100% the other party at fault...all on my camera so can't be denied

2nd claim in April on my new bike a postie van cuts across me at a junction on amber light doing about £3k damage to me, they wanted to settle 50/50 I say no. Still ongoing 9 months later

If I don’t recognise the number calling I ignore, they never leave a message and then I check website “who called me” which will tell me 99% of the time that the caller was a ambulance chaser. Blocked them every time.

Be careful using MUSTARD for comparisons, they are a bloody menace for keep sending 'news' emails way after the expiry date of quotes, firstly none of the quotes were realistic, secondly they are a media company really, Bauer Media, Absolute Radio, Magic, Planet Rock etc among other things and it appears they are as much interested in collecting dater on you as much as selling insurance.
I keep getting emails from other companies like tool sellers etc too, probably past on from them
I cant get rid of them as I gave a false mobile number, I NEVER give any company the real one, but you need that to unsubscribe!
    WHY???
    PITA!

Wouldn't Insure with Carol Nash-Legalised Gxxgsters
In short, moved house to (shall we say safer post code) Told my two car insurers and my motorhome insurers who all said I had a refund to come Hooray
Then told C Nash who I was insured with, 2bikes, which cost me originally £240 some 3months ago and they told me they wanted another £265. Guess where I told them to shove there insurance

Hi guys, reading with interest especially as it's that time again.

Hastings are my cheapest quote but they have a dog dirt reputation. Devitt next best. Anyone have an positive experiences with them?

Been with Devitts before, they were good and helpful taking out the policy, but did not need to try them at claiming, as like the rest too costly at renewal.

Cheers. That's the thing you don't know until you need them. Looking at around £300 on my 2008 triple r. 3 points last year killed me

One of my bikes is up for renewal next month and Hastings are coming up cheapest for me too. I usually go for the cheapest because they are all dog dirt as far as I'm concerned.

I'm with you but Hastings has a really bad rep all over the net. And I need to save at the moment but thinking the extra £50 with Devitts could be worth it.

Hastings were the cheapest for both my Bonnies and LandRover, but got silly at renewal, found them very good and helpful though.
Hopelessly expensive for the little bike so dumped them.
I'm now with 'Just Motorcycle Insurance' I think is part of Carol Nash, from Meercats or Google it, they came out the best for Rhonda the Honda.

Bennett's have just admitted to me that if you insure a bike through them - let's say a new Tiger at a value of £11000 - they never drop that valuation at renewal. So no matter how old your bike gets, you are still insuring the bike for £11000!

I can get the Tiger insured fully comprehensive for £152.00 with 2 years ncb and the Bonneville fully comp for £126.00 with no ncb as individual bikes. Bennett's want £519.00 for both on their multi bike policy! (Admittedly with some extras like helmet and leathers and breakdown cover at around £40) but come on!:mad:

Another thing to watch if you are considering covering helmet and leathers is the compulsory excess. If it is £200 on the standard policy it can go up to £700 with some companies if you add the extra cover!:mad:
