    Storm can any one tell me if I use the same oil in Spain as the UK as it is so hot out here.

    Although not certain I would say yes 10W-40 should do the job.

    +1 for using 10-40 for your bike in Spain and it's ambient temps.

    If you're experiencing the same as us here in France it's hot, hot, hot but still good quality 10-40 is fine.

    Wow this thread is a blast from the past. Nice one @Rick Fisk , hope you are enjoying your LT. Sadly I moved mine on a year or so ago. Loved the bike, but arthritis in my left hand meant the clutch was becoming painful to use.

    Nice to see this thread active again. I bought a 2010 Thunderbird 1600 last October, but haven't seen another one around here in Ireland. Not that there has been much biking activities since then...:(
