Went out for a ride today, thought I could hear a clonk now and again when braking to a stop. Got home and saw the horn bracket had snapped in 2, horn was hanging down and was hitting the mudguard when I braked. Mudguard is all scratched up and I've only just had it all resprayed in the summer. Bo**~%cks!

    Shouldn’t laugh.

    Sorry.

How about replacing it with a Denali Soundbomb?

I got the split one with the compressor hidden away.

It’s brilliant - you too can be like Mr Toad from Wind in the Willows - PooP PooP…

I can support Cyborgbots idea! I´m using the Denali Sound Bomb Mini which needs no compressor. It also sounds great in comparison to the original "Roadrunner meep-meep sound".;)

@TonyG - having an uncontrollable horn sounds dangerous, especially if it’s banging about and damaging your dirt catcher… you could have come off!!!
Hope you come up with a solution soon.

I remember a riding buddy putting one of these on his SV650. Turned his Suzuki into sounding like a MACK truck.

I anticipated all your forthcoming sympathy regards my horn problem!

Not sure what to replace it with, as you say the standard one is pathetic but the bike is a 2013 Bonneville so not sure a Denali will look right or even fit in the original position.

Will probably cover all the scratches with a sticker.

    Cheers
