thats why i removed mine to fit the in fills. remove the seat first remove tank held in my 3 bolts 2 at the front one long one at the rear, there are 2 breather pipes and 2 pugs on the under side of the tank just unplug the lot and the fuel line. put the tank to one side.

    remove battery

on the air box there are 2 large bolts were you romoved the battery can see once the battery is out
and 2 more at the back of the air box with the seat meets the tank so 4 in total. remove them there are a few pipe and plug to undo on the air box but you will see them all when its in fornt of you. once you have unpulled and pipes you need to give the box a good yank give it a wiggle and pull back to the seat and up its a bit stiff but will go, once thats out you can unbolt the infills and fit your own, when you put the box back give the rubber inlets of the air box as little spray of wd40 or the likes. so when you put it back the rubber inlets of the air box go over the inlets on the throttle bodys you will see this and will make sense when you see it. if you get stuff mail me for number you can fone me and will talk you through it if you get stuck

    Dan,

I had a crack at it today, and ur not wrong about it being overkill!!!

Anyway it's done, so thanks for the post describing the way, very helpful-and the tip about lubing up the rubbers that fit over the throttle bodies on reassembly.

Learned summat else today... Whenever this bike gets sold, it's sold with these still fitted!!!:D

Did mine today, with help from your post. 3 bloody hours.....job done...Or so i thought..... checked everything out afterwards and NO HORN. could hear the relay clicking, scratched my head, put a new relay on. still nothing.

Nothing for it, tank off, air box off again.......ooooooooooops, one live wire had dropped under the air box and i never saw it....Could have kicked myself..
A full day to put the infils on.HA

Nope. It's a new bike, didn't think I'd need one. I'll have a look for one later
