Hello all, I am the new owner of a 2002 Speed Four that has seen better days/been abused. I dig the bike and am planning to make an investment in restoration, some done myself as a novice mechanic, other items I can hand over to a professional mechanic. Problem 1: there is no keyed ignition switch. Currently the bike starts with a screwdriver! What parts do I need? The electronic manual I bought has no illustrations of the ignition components, and when I purchased a generic unit off ebay which was advertised as fitting my bike, there was no way I could see to mate the electrical connectors. See attached pic - cylinder outlined in yellow is all that is left I assume of the original switch. Question: what parts do I need to purchase to replace the keyed switch? No, the bike did not come with a set of keys.
