Hello from the Yorkshire Dales. Just bought a 17 plate Street Triple RS 4.5k miles. Due to the weather and greasy road conditions, I've only managed a few short rides, last weekend I had a run up to Tan Hill,(Highest pub in England) then dropped down to Keld in Swaledale and back to Leyburn in Wensleydale ,which is home.I kept the bike in rain mode, due to the conditions and my lack of experience with the bike.I had no "moments" and the Metzeler sportec M7 boots felt really surefooted.
A brief history, first bike 1974, Garelli moped, then BSA Barracuda 250, Yamaha RD250, Kawasaki Z650, shoot forward 42 years, Triumph Street triple.I hope to be a regular contributor to the forum. PS how do I change my forum name?

It's a great ride up there in nice weather which you obviously had, it was grey misty and cold last weekend, but I could not resist a spin on my new steed which was followed by a full clean to remove all the road salt and mud! Which I collected during the run . I have now applied ACF50 to keep things sweet until spring.
