This is reference my 2016 Speed Triple S. I am installing a set of SWMOTO risers. These came without instructions :-(. Would anyone have access to proper torque settings and is there a suggested pattern or order of tightening these longer bolts? The bike currently has a one piece top clamp but the risers came with individual top clamps. Are there any pros or cons as to using the original one piece? Thanks for any facts or speculation. CHEERS, Chris PS I did cross post in the technical sub forum hoping for wider coverage as I'd like to get this done.
I am sure someone will have the torque setting but as long as the gaps are equal back and front around 16nm should get you going, if you are unsure start with a low setting and work your way up in a front to rear pattern
Update for all you 2016 Speedy owners. I bought the SWMOTO 28mm dia. with 30mm rise in the silver color. They fit perfect and do not restrict the cables. Easy install and I got the correct torque setting which is 23 nm. I love the ergonomics and I no longer am sliding forward in the saddle as much.
Nice, as i am a bit on the short side i went for some Rizoma 50mm fat bars in red and that has helped me
Thanx Tony, i have short arms n legs and these bars allow me to pull them back another inch making a huge difference if i am pottering along red well you just have to lol
