Hello and welcome help please? What grease and lubricants are best for servicing my 2011 Bonneville?
Are there any walkthroughs or advise other fellow riders can provide? I
t's a minefield for a newbie who's keen to learn, mindful of using correct products. E.g. There's black, white, red, copper, lithium grease (plus others), PTFE, WD40 (about 10 different) products, autosol, engineers light oil (?), Moly, thread lock (different colurs), ACF50, SDOC100, etc.etc....
I'm thinking about, e.g. electrics, brake levers, cables, side stand, nuts/bolts (different types), brakes, pins/pads callipers, locks, chain, chain/wheel adjusters, brake pedal, gear shift assembly, exhaust clamps, other, etc.etc... Also, following cleaning what needs to be replaced, etc?
Many thanks and ride safe ... Andy
